MUST SEE! A real life SPIDER-PIG has been born!
People were astonished after seeing the unusual animal with eight trotters!
In El Galpon, in the north-west Argentine province of Salta, locals were completely shocked after the same sow also gave birth to one more piglet which had two mouths.
Santiago Valdez, a farmer, admitted that he was really surprised when the sow delivered eight-hooved piglet, dubbed "spider-pig”.
But what made the farmer even more surprised is when the second piglet which was born with two mouths. Because the piglet was unable to feed itself it has to be put down.
Seizing the once in a lifetime moment, farmer Santiago Valdez took a few photos of the “spider-pig” and share it to the social media. It quickly went viral after online users were in awe as they witness the bizarre animal.
Unfortunately, the “spider-pig” was not able to survive for long. It died shortly after it was born.
According to Santiago Valdez, he has absolutely no idea how and why did it happened. He was surprised that nobody asked for the piglets to carry out further investigations.
And because no one asked for the strange animals, he just threw them away.
He also said that he examined the sow that gave birth to the piglets and he did not notice any abnormality. However, he observed that it had begun to make lesser piglets.
The animal with abnormalities is just one out of the series of deformed animal births registered in the rural of Argentina.
Animal rights activists consider that industrial chemicals which the farmers are said to have used on their land can be the main cause of the birth defects. Or it could be a side effect from rigorous farming techniques.
