Elissa Colón from Raleigh, North Carolina, proudly filmed her daughter Johanna's tap dance routine over the weekend, as she watched on while the little girl stole the show with her sassy moves, oozing attitude worthy of diva Aretha herself.

'Johanna channeling Aretha Franklin!' Elissa captioned the video she shared on her Facebook page on Sunday.

The clip has received more than 23 million views since it was posted, and it is not difficult to see why.

The footage shows Johanna and two other girls standing with their backs to the audience. When the music starts, Johanna, who is standing center stage, is the first the whip herself around.

While all three girls don adorable pink tutus featuring black polka dots for their tap dancing routine, it is Johanna who brings the attitude.

The six-year-old can be seen lip-syncing Aretha's iconic lyrics as she shimmies, shakes and waves her finger back and forth. And the audience just can't get enough.

People can be heard laughing and whistling in the background as Johanna's family shouts words of support. More than 600,000 Facebook users shared the video of Johanna, with many leaving comments of praise for the talented little girl.

Elissa told ABC that her daughter's dance instructor chose Respect as the song for the girls' tap routine because she knew that Johanna would own it - and she was right.

According to the new outlet, the routine received the only standing ovation of the night.
'She completely stole the show,' Elissa said.

But Johanna is oblivious to her new found fame.

'She was more excited that today was the last day of school and she was going to have ice cream because she had gotten such a good report card,' her mom explained.

Elissa also noted that dancing is an outlet for Johanna, who takes jazz, ballet and tumbling classes, as her younger brother suffers from Hirschsprung's disease, a blockage of the large intestine.

'She spends a lot of time taking care of [her brother] and visiting him in the hospital,' Elissa said. 'Dance is where she gets to let loose and enjoy herself.'
