What are maglev trains? These are regular train running using magnetic (mag) levitation (lev) technology. This is where they get the name of the train. When electricity runs to the magnetic coils with will generate a positive and negative fields which helps the train to levitate. And if the train and the track have a gap then this means that there is no fiction between the track and the tire. The only resistance that the train will encounter is the wind.
There are 2 kinds of maglev trains in the world. These are the bullet train in Japan and the complex trains system in Germany. They are using different techniques on how to optimised the magnetic elevation system.
The Japan maglev train uses the same pole to levitate the train. On the other hand, the Germany Maglev train uses the different pole for them to lift the train up the track.
