Xiaomi new flagship smartphone, the Mi Note, is the fastest selling Android smartphone in the market, which is considered as an iPhone 6 Plus tough competitor in China because of it 5.7-inch screen. The first batch where sold out in three minutes after they launched it last Tuesday, according to Android Central.
The company have not revealed on the exact figures of unit that was sold however there are 220 million reservations that was placed last Monday, according to Xiaomi VP. There next batch will be available in China on February 3.
The device is priced at ¥2,299 ($371). It is jammed pack with 1080p screen, a 2.5 Ghz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 13-megapixel camera paired with a 4-megapixel front camera. It has a dual SIM capability.
Alternatively, Xiaomi will launched there most powerful version of Mi Note dubbed as Mi Note Pro. The “Pro” version has a quad HD screen, 2GHz octa-core processor from Snapdragon, 4GB of Ram and a 64GB storage.
Xiaomi is the largest smartphone maker in China where the company raised $1.1 billion at a staggering $45 billion valuation last December. There investors are All-Stars Investment, DST, GIC, Hopu Fund and Yunfeng Capital.
