It’s raining CATFISH in the Street of China!

This news just brings a whole new meaning to the term street food when the door of a delivery truck in southern Chinese province of Guizhou swung open and 15,000 lb of catfish came spilling out.

On March 17, 2015, in Kaili, Guizhou, thousands of kilograms of catfish was scattered across the road.

According to Shanghaiist, the door of the loading truck carrying 15,000 lb (6,800 kg) of catfish accidentally swung open mid-route.

Thanks to the community members and local fire department
for saving the fish and helping the truck driver


They sprayed down the street with water to keep the fish fresh and live,
while others picked them up and returned them to the truck.
With the help of the community members and the local fire department Development Zone Squadron in Qiandongnan Fire Detachment, the truck was soon reloaded with its haul. It was a two-hour rescue and the shipment was not wasted because of the help of everyone.

They sprayed down the street with water to keep the fish fresh and live, while others picked them up and returned them to the truck.

None of the catfish was stolen by those helping the truck driver to pick up all the catfish.
