Meet Luxy: Tinder-type dating app but minus “The poor people”
Tinder has been the top dating app these past few months, it turned the game “hot or not” into an obligating way to meet new people. But as Tinder became so famous, a new dating app that called itself “Tinder, minus the poor people” is making its name in the market.
This new dating app is called Luxy, it matches wealthy singles to wealthy singles!
Its app’s in Itunes claimed that CEO’s, investors, millionaires, and fitness models are its members.
“It works a lot like Tinder, except this is Tinder minus the poor people,” said Darren Shuster, spokesperson for Luxy
“I would describe the average member as somebody who makes a lot of money. Multiple cars, art collections, big fancy mansions.” added Shuster
There are 3,000 users, and the average male user's income is $200,000.
According to TechTimes, Luxy decides the perfect match for its users by first asking the products that the users consume. Users first send in their five favorite luxury brands, and then the app matches the user to other users that have similar favorite luxury brands.
"With the rise of high-speed digital dating, it's about time somebody introduced a filter to weed out low-income prospects by neighborhood." Said Luxy’s CEO (who prefer to ne nameless because of Luxy’s controversies)
According to CBS San Francisco, user of the app can share their favorite high-end designers, so that people can see if they are match made in luxury. And in order to join the app, men must make at least “$250,000 a year which must be verified with a tax record and women should be attractive.
