2 people died after drinking milk tea

In Sampaloc, Manila two people faced death after drinking milk tea at a local store. 

Suzzane Dagohoy collapsed after drinking milk tea

Suzanne Dagohoy, 28 years old and her boyfriend Arnold Aydalla, 34 years old purchased a Hokkaido-flavored milk tea at ErgoCha Milktea House in Bustillos Street, Samaploc Manila around 11:00 in the morning on Thursday.

Aydalla took a sip of the milk tea and immediately spitted it out, saying e find the taste different than what they normally have. While Dagohoy did the same thing after her boyfriend handed it to her but she consume more quantity than Aydalla.

Aydalla called William Abrigo, the owner of the ErgoCha store, to complain about the strange taste of the milk tea, But Abrigo denied the unusual taste. He tasted the milktea just to prove his point and convice the clients that there was nothing wrong in it.

It was Dagohoy who collapsed first followed by Aydalla. A few minutes later, Abrigo also collapsed. All three were rushed to a nearby hospital but Dagohoy and Abrigo were declared dead on arrival. Meanwhile, Aydalla is still confined in the hospital and in critical condition.

The Food and Drug Administration (BFAD) is studying the sample of the milk tea. The remains of the victims are now undergoing autopsy at the PNP Crime Laboratory.

Families of Dagohoy and Aydalla may file charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide and physical injury to the wife of Abrigo, Adela, the registered owner of the shop. Watch the CCTV footage here:
