Doctor once saved a baby, guess what happened after 30 years!

Karma, What goes around, comes around!

The story of Dr. Michael Shannon and Chris Trokey is a classic example of this saying.

Dr. Shannon is a pediatrician and has taken care a lot of children for the past 30 years.  

Little did he know that one of the premature babies that he saved 30 years ago will be the  one to save him.

Dr. Michael Shannon was trapped in a burning SUV 4 years ago, and guess what? a fire fighter paramedic named Chris Trokey was there to rescue him.

Chris Torkey said on an inteview "I didn't know until I went to the hospital and everyone started talking about Dr. Shannon.   It was like oh my Gosh, Dr. Shannon? So that's when I found out."



Dr. Shannon's name was special to Trokey, it was the reason of his existence today. He was born premature with just  over 3 pounds and it was Dr. Shannon who saved his life back then.



It must be a mixture of emotions when Dr. Shannon found out who saved his life.



Dr. Shannon said on an interview "Its amazing to watch them all grow up, but to have come back into your life on a day when you really need it,  that's really incredible."

After the incident, they are now more connected to each other.

Dr. Shannon is now on his second generation of Trokeys! He is now the pediatrician of Chris baby son. He is happy on how are things going, "It goes on and on, it's really incredible.



Life is full of mystery, so treat everyone on how you want to be treated.
