His search for a sewage pipe lead him finding ancient rooms and artifacts dating back 2000 years ago.
In Lecce Puglia, Luciano Faggiano found this archaeological treasure while trying to set up a trattoria on the ground floor of his family home.
This discovery is not an odd occurrence in Lecce as a member of the City Council, Severo Martini said: ‘Whenever you dig a hole, centuries of history come out.’
