The 77-year-old billionaire, Cecil Chao said that he is not trying to interfere with his daughter's life. He only wants her daughter to have a "normal" life where she will have "a good marriage and children".

Cecil Chao seems disregards the fact that her daughter, 34-year-old Gigi, was actually married to her long-time partner Sean Eav. He announced his offer after the marriage was publicized.


Cecil said, "I'm not saying that she's not okay to be gay. I mean it's her own choice and her own tendency, but she should make sure she knows what she wants. Maybe what she wants today is different than what she wants in the future."

The first schemed failed, despite the large sum of money involved. So, Cecil Chao was hoping her daughter would finally found a suitable man after he doubles the amount.

Gigi's wife was distraught by the offer but they just simply ignore her father's schemes than to have a fight with him.

Gigi said that she doesn't think that her dad's offering of money would be able to attract a man she would find attractive. She also said that she would be happy to befriend any man who will be willing to donate huge amount of money to her charity Faith in Love, as long as they don't mind that she has already a wife.
