During an interview, Alden Richards was asked about his thoughts about the fact that, now, he and Maine Mendoza has already the chance to talk and see each other.
Alden Richards said, "I am starting to get to know her more." He also said that Maine Mendoza is fun to work with because she shows her real self. Alden qouted, "Totoo siyang tao, hindi fake. Hindi sya showbiz." Alden thinks that might be the thing the the industry lacks now, those people who are not "showbiz". And because for Alden, Maine is not like that, he always look forward to work with her.
He also revealed that Maine Mendoza is "makulit" just like him.
And because everybody seems to curious, Alden Richards was also asked about his thoughts towards him being the hottest male and love team with Maine Mendoza now.
Alden humbly answered it and said he was really overwhelmed and it was still now sinking in. He also said that the showbiz industry is really fond of creating titles. However, for Alden Richards it is not about the titles, it is about how do you defend the title which is given to you by the industry. He said, "How would you be as a person at the end of the day. That's what counts po. It's not the title, it is what kind of person you are at the end of the day that counts."
He laughed when he was told asked if he really feel being very famous that there was even an instance where a mall closed because there are too many fans trying to get in because of him being inside. He said that he was happy and thrilled. He and his family can't believe that this is happening to them right now. According to Alden Richards, what is really important is to stay humble. When people are trying to put you on top, all the more that you should always keep your feet on the ground.
