Bizarre sea monster shows up on Australian beach coast!
A freakish eel like sea creature was washed up on the Australian beach coast! What could it be?
The mysterious creature was found in Swansea, on the New South Wales Central Coast in Australia last Monday.
Facebook user, Ethan Tippa posted the photo of the creature on Facebook with the caption “What the f*** is it?”
The photo will really give you the creeps! With a nose just like what dolphins have, skin same as an eel or a fish and a body similar to a crocodile’s, the creature looks like a result of a messed up science experiment!
Online user, PRIME7 News Hunter also posted the photo on Twitter and captioned, “Nightmare material right here! Monster of the deep or Photoshop magic? Details on @PRIME7Hunter tonight.”
According to the Newscastle Herald, the eerie creature was discovered by Robert Tyndall. He found the creature already dead on the coast of the beach, together with the locals who were both confused and really frightened with what they saw.
However, according to Julian Pepperell, a marine biologist, the creature who everyone mistook for a monster was actually a pike eel. The pike eel measures 1.4 meters equivalent to 4.5 feet. And it can grow up to the maximum length of 1.8 meters or 5.9 feet.
The pike eel already looks quite old, Pepperell told the newspaper. Rumors has it that this creature is really famous for frightening fishermen when they are accidentally caught, especially during night.
Aside from having a strong muscle, the pike eel also haa a vicious bite that can cause inflicting slashing wounds.
Therefore, the photo is absolutely not fake and the creature is not a outcome of a failed experiment. it is just another sea creature you do not want to cross paths with when you are in Australia!
