L.E,D illusion mirror is a really cool experiment you can easily do at home

Online user Mist8k posted a video on YouTube which shows how to make your own L.E.D infinity mirror saying that the illusion is really cool and pretty simple to make.

For this cool experiment project, he used a box frame sculpture he found in an accessory store. 

He figured out that the frame seemed perfect for the project because it looks deep enough to fit in the L.E.D lights on the inside and that it has already a mirror.

He also used a roll of car window tint film and a strip of color changing L.E.Ds.

First, he removed the mirror at the back of the frame. He carefully removed the sculpture design on the center. Using a glass cleaner, he wiped the glue and dirt off the mirror.

Next, the removed the wooden pieces which holds the glass in place, then, he carefully removed the glass itself. Afterwards, he polished both side of the glass to remove contaminants or dust before applying the tint film.

He cut out a piece of tint film just enough to cover the portion of the glass. What’s next was quite the tricky part, peeling off the film. He found it best to tape the 3 sides of the film on a table then carefully peel of the remaining side using a tape. And as he peels off the film, he sprayed it with soapy water. 

Applying more soapy water on the glass will make it easier to put on the film. You can thoroughly squeeze out the all the air pockets from the film using a card. After clearing the edges, he placed the tinted glass in the frame.

The tinted part of the glass should be facing upwards.
