His door slowly opens but what unlocked it was definitely NOT a human being!
There are some things which are terrifying in their own right and most can be easily trapped in a room why you try to run away screaming for your life. But now, the game has changed.
You will never think about snakes the same way before after you watch this.
Meet Julius. Julius is a female python who lives in your nightmares and also Germany (or, at least, she did when this video was uploaded to the Internet three years ago). In this clip, Julius demonstrates a neat trick she learned, which is how to make sure you never feel safe or protected anywhere again. Prepare yourself for the deafening thud as she enters a room all by herself.
With no help from anybody, she managed to open the door and continues to do so. She can absolutely open knobs which are in round shape.
Fortunately, after the fall, the python did have any injuries at all. Thanks to her very flexible bones and dense muscles.
Charming as they are, pythons are still known to be destructive, and sometimes deadly, when they are exploring. So the owner assures that they always kept their doors locked. As a matter of fact, after the footage was captured, they immediately changed their toe door handle.
Yes, it won't be cheap, but they would honestly rather be safe than sorry when it comes to home snake protection.
Julius was humanely euthanized in early 2012. She had been battling a systemic infection for over a year. We're not sure what caused it, even the exotics vet was stumped. The options were amputate a few feet of her tail, which she may not survive, or have her put to sleep.
If you want to be even more terrified, just check out the full video below and share us your thoughts on the comment section!
