A rare video of one of the world's deadliest snakes were caught having a battle over who's going to mate with a female snake. The Black Mamba is one of the deadliest of all the venomous snakes.

Two male Black Mamba snakes were seen twisting around each other and raising their head ups in attempting to subdue their opponents which they do every mating season. Sometimes they are mistaken for mating, but the truth was they are fighting over a female snake.

Black Mamba males like these will continue to spar until a winner emerges. The winning snake has then earned the chance to mate with a female.

The Black Mamba gets its name not from the color of its scales but from the color of the inside of it's mouth, which is jet-black. This ink black mouth is the home for the mamba's fangs, which can release highly toxic venom.

The venom of this snake is composed of neurotoxins, specifically dendrotoxin. That makes Black Mamba extremely dangerous and can cause total collapse in humans after just 45 minutes of strike.

A Black Mamba is highly aggressive that's why it should be avoided at all cost! They are also the fastest land snake in the world, capable of reaching speeds of up to 20km/h. These fearsome snakes can strike up to 12 times in a row.
