Ancient Stone Box 'Coffin' found on Mars

A strange coffin-like structure was found in a 2012 NASA Curiosity rover photo recently, its seeming manufactured from lending itself to speculation of ancient aliens.

UFO Sightings Daily relayed the Mars coffin finding Dec. 28, posting the image of the strange object (strange because something like a coffin shouldn't actually be there) and noting that the object appears to be constructed of stone.

The 'coffin' was discovered by Will Farrar from WhatsUpintheSky37 as he trawled through a library of pictures sent back by the Mars rover Curiosity.

Alien researcher Scott Waring of the UFO Sightings Daily said he believes the coffin was made from a stone-like substance

It looks to be about 3.2 ft (one metre) across and 1.5ft (0.4 metres) wide and high, reported Daily Mail.

Mr Farrar claims the structure may be left over from an old civilization

"This stone object looks like a coffin," researcher Scott Waring of the UFO Sightings Daily said

An ‘alien coffin’ might possibly be added to the long list of curious objects found on the surface of the Red Planet. Puzzled UFO enthusiasts now want NASA’s Curiosity rover to take a closer look.
