After typhoon Marsha, a giant and slimy creature shows up. The family was surprise on this snake like animal.

They say the the early bird catches the biggest worm. For this one, the gigantic work shows up early after a heavy rain.

The Simoneau family from Sunshine Coast Australia spotted not just one but two gigantic earthworm near their house.

According to Tamara Simoneau, “At first glance we thought they were snakes. It was just this dark long object on a pale tile”.

“It was a scale because at first they looked like snakes. But after a closer look the snakes turned out to be giant earthworms. The two worms measured a meter long”, he added.

The colossus earthworm surface because of the heavy rain that Typhoon Marsha brought to Queensland. This burrowing annelid worms cannot relax when the soil is very very saturated and they are looking for a higher place when a bad weather is coming.
