Bodyguard, sometimes called close protection offer, is one kind of security guard or government agent who safeguard a public, wealthy, or politically important figures. They keep them from harm mostly against theft, assault, kidnapping, assassination, harassment, threats, and even fans.
Some of the famous celebrities and CEOs of a well known company use bodyguards. In some part of the world, they take their bodyguards when they go in different places around the globe.
In 1992, a movie called “The Bodyguard” was released. This is a story of a former top secret agent who become a bodyguard for a pop singer. The only difference it that it has a different lifestyle compared to the President.
For the Eat Bulaga’s Kalye Serye, bodyguards are very prominent. The Kalye Angels have their own bodyguards. Lola Nidora has her Rogelios for her disposal. Lola Tidora has her Bernardos to assist her when she travels. Lola Tidora has her Quandos to help her in her everyday tasks.
The Rogelios (Rogelio, Rogelio, Rogelio). Lola Nidora summons them three times using their same name. They usually wear a matching uniforms and shades even when the sky is raining. These are the original bodyguards from this drama series.
The Bernardos (Bernardo, Bernardo, Bernardo). When Lola Tidora was introduced to this mini-series,she also brought her bodyguards. They are similar to Lola Nidora’s Rogelios but they are more handsome and muscular. They seem to be a model from a GQ magazine.
The Quandos (Quandos, Quandos, Quandos). When Lola Tinodora was place in the series, she brought her bodyguards as well. They are wearing a traditional Filipino Barong, which is the same as the Rogelios but the Quandos don’t wear shades and less buff as the Rogelios and less handsome as the Bernardos. Their name were based from the 1960’s songs Quando, Quando, Quando.
