Family released 'letter to heaven' balloon at dad's grave.. What happened next gave me goosebumps!
A family was shocked to find out that the balloons they released at the dad's grave on Father's Day was found at their own home which is located 25 miles away!
The grieving family attached a "letter to heaven" with the balloons they released from beside his grave. They asked whoever will find the balloons will send them back their letter. Little do they know that the balloons will be waiting for them at home.
Sandy Seibold of Cement, Oklahoma lost her husband Johnny who died because of pancreatic cancer in May. She wanted to find a way to mark the first Father's Day without his husband.
Visiting his burial site near Stirling, Sandy and her daughter Saige, 13, released balloons with a touching note attached urging anyone who found it to get in contact.
They first tried to tie ribbons to the balloons but it failed because it caught up around a power line above the graveyard.
Sandy prayed to God to let the balloons fly for her daughter Saige. And just like that, the wind drifted the balloons away.
As Saige arrived home, she went to the field where she would often spend time with her father but she was shocked to see the exact balloons they flew for their dad was tangled around the fence.
Incredibly, she discovered the balloons and the letter was drifted by the wind directly to their home.
Sandy said, "What are the chances? I think I started crying, It felt like a message from him. This has given us a lot of peace and good feelings about where he's at."
Could it be that Sandy's husband sent back the balloons as his "reply" to their message? Or is it pure coincidence? Share us your thoughts on the comments section!
