Kuya Germs has been credited and known for developing and producing some of the country’s biggest stars through his former TV show ‘That’s Entertainment.’’ He was also the host of the popular program ‘‘Walang Tulugan.’’

Kuya Germs suffered a mild stroke on January 2, 2015. According to his son, Federico Moreno, Kuya Germs condition improved soon after. After recovering, he went back to hosting his programs on television and radio. However, One year later, he suffered another stroke.

On January 8, 2016, he was rushed to the St. Luke's Medical Center at Quezon City where he died on the same day at 3:20 a.m. According to his nepher, John Nite, Kuya Germs died from cardiac arrest. He was 82.

In one of the episodes of "Tunay na Buhay," as German Molina Moreno also known as Kuya Germs or the Master Showman shares a glimpse of his house and collections, he narrates the hardships he encountered along his life journey in the world of show business.
