Her doppelganger is for real and she finally had met her. "I thought I saw me!" Maine on her look-a-like.
Maine Mendoza aka Yaya Dub has been in the entertainment industry for almost a year now. However, in that short span of time, she had already captured the hearts of the viewers, especially the AlDub Nation who has been by her side since the beginning.
She is often described as hilariously funny, sweet and a humble young lady. There have been some people who wanted and tired to look like her but some is blessed to have a face that looks like her!
As many girls imitate Maine, there is one who really stood out. Meet Kissiel Solis, known as the twin sister and doppelganger of the KalyeSerye star Maine Mendoza. Kissiel is only 17 years old. She was born on February 9, 1998. Yaya Dub's look-a-like is taking up a 2 year course on Office Management.
Kissiel Solis's facial features, most especially her eyebrows, lips and nose looks a lot like Maine Mendoza's. When her photos circulated over different social networking sites, people immediately noticed the same appearance that she and Maine have.
Because Kissiel Solis had gone viral, Maine took the time to meet at her ka-look-alike in the flesh. She did it during an endorsement when she visited Cebu. After they had met, Maine Mendoza shared her reaction to her doppelganger through a precious tweet.
According to Michael Sheehan, Cornell University's assistant professor of neurobiology and behavior, there is only much genetic diversity to go around. It is like shuffling a deck of cards so many times that at some point, you get the same hand dealt to you twice.
She explained that despite being from different families and no chance being related to each other, there will come a time when genes will give two different person approximately the same features.
So, don't be shock if you will ever cross paths with someone who looks like you!
