In a video uploaded by PEP, Alden Richards was asked by some interviewers if he get everything he expected with Maine Mendoza.
"Actually, kung ano yung inexpect ko yun ung mga nakuha ko eh. I saw her on TV as makulit person, that's how she is in real life. Nothing much, walang masyadong naiba dun sa perception ko," Alden answered.
And then the interviewer asked Alden what is that Maine discovered about him.
"Yes, akala niya daw tahimik ako. Akala daw niya di ako madaldal. Then we discovered were both want to have fun. Makulit. No dull moments," he said.
According to PEP interviewer, many people noticed that Alden had changed. From being a serious one to now a very bubbly, fun person and happy one on TV. We didn't see that side of him until he get to appear in Eat Bulaga and do his thing on his own.
"That's the real me, off cam. My family. my closest friends knows that. Mas masarap ilabas yung natural, yung yourself. Be true on who you are, people will love you through that. So yun un ginagawa ko, that's why i'm enjoying every bit of it, im enjoying every bit of the situation. Kasi i'm just being myself," he answered.
Asked if Maine was the reason why he was now being himself. Does Maine really brings out the best in Alden? Or Eat Bulaga is also one of the factors.
"Well, maraming factors. Eat Bulaga, Kalyeserye, the situation made me myself. Parang binuo niya na ako, na lumabas na yung sense of humor ko. Na tinatago ko for the longest time," Alden said.
He may have changed throughout this journey with Maine, but the good thing is he have changed for the better. And like what they say, some one will truly brings out the best in you. Thanks to Maine for being one of the reason!
