This terrifyingly odd looking sea beast isn't quite what it first seem.

At first, when you glance at the creature, it looks like a grotesque blob of matter with a really disturbing slimy proboscis. But when you take a good look, the monstrous looking sea creature was, in fact, one of nature's most cunning survival tactics at work!

Inside a rotund body is one sea dweller seeking refuge!

Seen in the video, the bigger sea creature, is a sea cucumber which is a plodding, bottom dwelling beast who spends its days most of its time eating sand then it excretes it back out again.

While the long black slimy creature penetrating is a pearl fish which closely resembles the look of an eel like critter.

The pearl fish likes and tries to look for its own sanctuary when it is in a bid to escape enemies. And when he cross paths with this sea cucumber, his fishy wisdom decides that it is the perfect hiding place - so it slithers into the sea cucumber's back passage.

Though it may seem really strange, the portly sea cucumber taste so vile which is why it has really few natural predators.

During the whole moment, the sea cucumber remains stoic as the pearl fish makes it self comfortable.

It was so pleased with its new sanctuary that it even invited its family and friends to also move in!
