WATCH! Tense moment a traveler came face-to-face with a wild bear!
A traveler was able to film a teeth-gritting moment when they spotted a huge bear prowling nearby.
The video started when a the bear was still 100 meter away. Then the man began to shout and scream at the wild animal.
His attempt to frighten the animal was kind of not working, but then a voice heard from the video asked, "Do you have a rock?"
In those tense scenes, the huge bear slowly disappeared while the man was heavy breathing and said, "That was good huh".
According to an article written by Mirror, the footage was filmed near the McKinley River in Alaska.
The YouTube video was originally posted by Ttumolo with a caption saying. "I consider myself very lucky to have walked away from this one unharmed."
"This is a situation every back country traveler never wants to experience. I was down wind of the bear and looking down hill at Dusty who was still hiking up.
"The bear was apparently approaching to investigate what I was and not catching any smell due to the wind.
"When Dusty saw him and began waiving his hands, I turned and slowly started walking backwards facing him but not being threatening, while talking to the bear."
According to his caption, what he did was a technique he used which has worked in every other bear encounter he ever had.
"When I realized it was not deterring him in the slightest I knew I was in for trouble and realized I had one tactic left to call out his bluff. When he stood up to charge in the beginning of the video I had to try and counter it.
He claimed that he didn't need to use a gun or spray. He choose to appear like a threat or at least a difficult meat to the bear.
