Woman risks her life as she climbs over tiger fence to get her hat back!
In Toronto Zoo, a woman was captured jumping over the fence just to retrieve her hat which had fallen inside the tiger enclosure.
Fortunately, the enclosure has a second fence which help stop the tiger to leap and devour her. However, seen in the video, the woman's action caused the tiger to continuously jump over the fence hoping it will find a way to take hold on the woman.
According to the Toronto Zoo's spokesperson, Jennifer Tracey, they are completely aware of the incident and are now investigating the video. She told Reuters that in her understanding, it happened saturday afternoon.
Because it is often the people lose their items around the enclosure area, they made a special equipment which is designed to help them retrieve their belongings. She strongly said that there is no need for the visitors to go after their things, themselves. They should just follow the signs because they is a reason why they are there.
The tiger in the video is named, Hari, which was find and was not traumatized by the incident, according to spokesperon Jennifer Tracey.
The video was captured by Jared Sales and said that there was no immediate investigation about the incident. He believes that if it wasn't because his video, the Zoo wouldn't probably even be aware that it happened.
