It's been 11 months since this AlDub phenomenon started, and next month it will be their first anniversary as ALDUB, where everything started.
Before they were just Alden and Yaya Dub, but as time goes by, it seems like the acting are becoming real. From being split screen love team to on screen partners. And whether they don't admit their relationship status, many are believing that they are already in love with each other.
In an interview with PEPTalk last year 2015, Alden shared his thoughts before and after meeting Maine on Eat Bulaga. And also talks about his feelings about the AlDub phenomenon.
Alden describes his pair up with Maine as a 'blessing', not only to him but also to Eat Bulaga, GMA 7 and of course to Maine. He gave thanks to AldUB Nation for making them trend on Twitter not only in the Philippines but Worldwide everyday since day one.
According to Alden, he have already watched Maine's dubsmash videos on YouTube even before she joined Eat Bulaga. When asked what's unique about Maine's videos than other, here's his answer.
"What makes Maine Mendoza unique from everyone is the commitment na binibigay niya sa mga dubsmashes niya specially when she does the dubsmash of Kris Aquino and other comedic icons.So nakakatawa"
Even before meeting Maine on the split screen, he have already seen her on Juan For All, All For Juan as Yaya Dub, Lola Nidora's maid. Alden finds her a very fun person, someone who gives out everything, she's very lively and it's like there no dull moment when you're with her.
