Blue Indigo Snake gobbled on a venomous Rattlesnake

Snakes can feast on any animals bigger than its body, but its rare to see them target their own kind. Just like this video uploaded by RandomVids on YouTube, a man saw two snakes together but there's something weird going on.

A blue indigo snake hungrily eat this diamond rattlesnake in squirming standoff. The blue indigo snake remains its supremacy on the serpents kingdom.

The Blue Indigo Snake (Drymarchon couperi) is also known as the "gopher snake" is a protected species of large nonvenomous colubrid snake that can grow up to 8.5 feet. It is resistant to the venom of the rattlesnake and it uses its muscular jaws to kill its prey by strangling them to death.

On the other corner, the Diamond Rattlesnake (Crotalus atrox), also known as the "western diamondback rattlesnake" is a venomous pit-viper species found in United States and Mexico. It is no match to the gopher snake because the gopher snakes are immune to their venom.

Constriction versus venom for the battle of survival.

The video was captured in Texas, United States where the gopher snake said to be the longest snake in North America.
