This 65 year-old school teacher who has 13 children is set to become the oldest woman to give birth, not on a single child, but to give birth to QUADRUPLETS!

oldest woman ever to give birth to quadruplets

Annegret Raunigk a mother of 13 and will soon become a mother of quadruplets became pregnant through artificial insemination using eggs and sperm.

According to Ms.Raunigk, she was on her 21st week of her pregnancy when she underwent an ultrasound and was shocked that she was carrying quadruplets.

“After the doctor discovered there were four, I had to give it some thought to begin with” said Ms.Raunigk

Ms.Raugnik became pregnant through

artificial insemination using eggs and sperm.

Her 13 children are from five different fathers and her oldest is now 44-year-old. And she also already has 7 grandchildren.

After finding out about the quadruplets, Ms.Raugnik’s gynecologist suggested the possibility of an abortion, but she refuses the option.

“Once the physician established that there are four babies inside me then I had to do some thinking” she added

Ms.Raugnik stand on his decision to keep her babies alive, saying: “I think one needs to decide for oneself and not listen too much to the opinions of others.”

The oldest woman ever to give birth at the age of 70 is Omkari Panwar from India.
