Emotional moment between The Judge and The Accused. The reason is heart-breaking

You never know how or when you will see again your schoolmates. Reunion with your schoolmates are the best thing right? But this bittersweet moment between the judge and the accused is the most heart-breaking of all.

Courtroom cameras captured an emotional reunion of Miami-Dade judge and one of her middle-school classmate who was arrested following an alleged burglary and police pursuit.

South Florida judge realized that the suspect in front of her was her former middle-school classmate.

Arthur Booth, 49-year-old, was in Miami-Dade court Thursday after police said he broke into a home, stole a car and fled from the authorities.

Before crashing the Honda Accord and being arrested on Monday, Booth had caused two accidents already.

Miami-Dade County Judge Mindy Glazer asked Booth a question,

I have a question for you — did you go to Nautilus... from middle-school?

When he heard the question Booth bursts into tears with a smile saying, "Oh my goodness, oh my goodness,"

I'm sorry to see you here. I always wondered what happened to you,

Judge Mindy Glazer said as Booth cried.

Judge Glazer reminisced about their childhood and Booth is still crying can’t believe that it's his former classmate.

"This was the nicest kid in middle school," said Judge Glazer.

He was the best kid in middle school. I used to play football with him, all the kids, and look what has happened.

As Booth continues to cry, Judge Glazer gave him some words of encouragements.

I am so sorry to see you there. Mr. Booth, I hope you are able to change your ways, good luck to you,

she said.

What's sad is how old we've become. Good luck to you sir, I hope you are able to come out of this ok and just lead a lawful life.

Melissa Miller, Booth’s cousin believes that he cried because he was ashamed of his arrest.

"It just brought back memories of how smart he was," said Miller. "He was a scholar, well-rounded athlete, bilingual."

She said that drugs destroyed the bright future for Booth.

"I was heartbroken. I mean, it just broke my heart," Miller said.

We're really trying to find help because there's obviously a need for help.

Booth's bond was set at $43,000.
