This badass grandma escaped the nursing home, the reason is unbelievable!
What would you do when you reach the age of 79-year-old and your stay at the nursing home? Maybe just take a rest everyday and drink meds. But this rebellious grandma did something outrageous!
This Badass grandma Sadie Sellers went missing from her nursing home and the reason is SURPRISING!
Her son Tony Sellers was shocked when he arrived at the nursing home for his daily visit to his mom, only to discover an empty wheelchair in her room.
The 79-year-old grandmother went to a tattoo studio with her granddaughter Samantha.
Tony finally tracked down his mom to Studio Seventy-Six in Londonderry, Northern Ireland.
Parlor’s younger clients can’t believe that a 79-year-old grandma would do such thing.
She got an outline of a heart on her left arm.
"I asked the fella how long it would take and he said it had finished five minutes ago. I never felt a thing. He just laughed at me," the 79-year-old grandma said.
According to Tony, Sadie had broken out the nursing home twice, both times with her daughter.
"When you get to my age, you just have to live life to the full every day,” said Sadie. "I was talking about it with Samantha for a couple of weeks and she showed me hers. She came in one day after her holiday and I just thought: 'Well I'll get one too'.”
Her granddaughter Samantha, 22, said her grandma is an “amazing woman”. She spends nearly all her spare time with her grandma.
"She would always say how much she liked my tattoos and piercings and she thought about it for a long time. She was really chilled out about it all.” Samantha said. "I took her to Studio Seventy-Six because that's where I got mine. I'm very close to her so I got a matching one done afterwards.”
"When I came back to the home and everyone heard about it they all rushed round to see it. Tony didn't know what to think.” Sadie said giggling. "Samantha is my right arm and my left arm. She
spends nearly all her spare time down here with me so it was lovely to get this done with her."
Sadie is a retired civil servant and it’s her first time to get a tattoo.
“She’s normally very prim and proper,” said Tony about his mom, “but she does sometimes swear like a sailor behind closed doors. The lads were in stitches laughing at her - they thought she was fascinating. I think she’s already planning another one."
When asked what her family would think of the tattoo, the bubbly grandma said: “I don’t f***ing care!”
