If anyone who wants to have a $10,000 and has a friend who wants to date guys, you better get their resume and give it to Ren You.

Ren You, 29-year-old, who lives in Birmingham, Alabama, is rewarding $10,000 to anyone who can set him up in a relationship lasting longer than six months.

He created a website – DateRen.com 

"I don't know if it's going to work out, but I thought I'd give it a shot," 

He was from Boston and moved to Alabama almost a year ago and he was discouraged by the dating environment in the city so he thought of using his marketing strategy to improve his success ratio.

He works 12-hours a day at a private equity firm in Alabama. And he has been spending the past nine months just for looking for a girlfriend.

Ren came up with an idea of setting up a website – DateRen.com – so someone can find him girls he can date for long term or even to marry.

Even Tinder or OkCupid didn’t work for him, there was this one disaster date that motivated him to pay the price for his love.

"I don't know if it's going to work out, but I thought I'd give it a shot," Ren You said.

DateRen.com – Ren’s website features his full bio and the list of things he like, things he is looking for in a girlfriend, and lots of photos.

His website had been up for just a week, but according to him he already received a lot of submissions.

“People are willing to pay a huge amount of money for a lot of things that are a lot less important,” he said.

Ren’s rule regarding the money is that in order to collect the money, he has to date the girl for at least six months since it’s hard to tell if it’s love already, but Ren wants to give it a try.

"I feel like finding relationships is something that a lot of people don't want to associate with a dollar amount," Ren says. "But if you think about the amount of money that people spend on other things, 10 grand can't even buy you a decent car."
