Juno the whale tries to scare the two adorable kids

The mischievous mammal was caught on camera frightening kids at the Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, Connecticut.

This is Juno, at Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, CT USA. He's well known for interacting with visitors, and has a special affinity for baby strollers, people in wheelchairs - anything that is vehicle-like.

He is well aware that he is getting a reaction from the kids. This is his entertainment - messing with the creatures that are supplied for his enjoyment.

Video of a beluga whale interacting with kids at the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut has become quite the talker -- not all of it positive.

Michelle Cotton originally filmed the clip and uploaded it to YouTube.

But the wildly popular video clip shows that shows Juno, engaging the children with a series of head darts and open-mouth gestures racked up over 2,000,000 views on YouTube!

At one point he turns away from them and quickly turns back in a "gotcha!' move that makes them squeal.

Squealing in delight, the youngsters jump back. But they return as the gigantic animal repeatedly plays the game.

"Makes me laugh everytime! so fun!," wrote one viewer.

"He's really just playing with them," Dr. Tracy Romano, the aquarium's chief marine biologist, told CBS. "He's playing peekaboo. Boo! ... The kids getting his reaction is really what's spurring him on to keep doing it."

While many have reacted to the sequence with delight, some said the whale appeared in distress and others expressed dismay at its captivity. "Whales belong in an ocean, not a bathtub for our amusement," one viewer commented on YouTube.

According to the aquarium's website, Mystic received Juno from SeaWorld Orlando in January 2010. "He is usually the one watching the people at the underwater viewing area," his bio reads.
