Let's have a throwback road trip with Alden Richards!
Alden Richards' road trip video last January 3, 2012 was uploaded on YouTube by username nato gonzaga. He was riding a car with his PA (Personal Assistant) and Driver kuya Eric going to 'The Road' story conference.
While taking the video, Alden was teasing his driver with something about his buckle. I think he forgot to remove it while trying to ask for directions.
His driver Kuya Eric told Alden that he was once caught by a traffic enforcer in Quiapo. Then when they passed thru the Sogo hotel Alden joked that his PA was always in that hotel.
'The Road' movie was a Filipino psychological horror. The film was released on November 30, 2011. Alden played as a young Luis (TJ Trinidad), who was the mastermind of the murders.
The story is about a twelve year old cold case is reopened when three teens are missing in an abandoned road. In the course of the investigation, deeper and gruesome stories of abduction and murders are discovered. After more than two decades, the secrets of the haunted road may finally be revealed.
'The Road' was directed by Yam Laranas. Together with Alden was TJ Trinidad, Rhian Ramos, Barbie Forteza, Derrick Monasterio, Louise delos Reyes, Marvin Agustin, Lexi Fernandez, Ynna Asistio, Renz Valerio, John Regala, Jaclyn Jose, Allan Paule, Lloyd Sarmiento and Carmina Villaroel.
The movie was also released at Belgium in which it competed in the 30th Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival. And also shown in limited theaters in North America and released nationwide in Singapore.
The MTRCB rated 'The Road' R-13, while the Cinema Evaluation Board gave the movie a review of Grade B.
During the Golden Screen Awards last March 24, 2012, the film won the Best Sound.
