Planetary Ventures, a Google subsidiary, will lease Moffett Field, one of the historic NASA’s facility for 60 years. The Hangar One is a huge building that can be found inside the Silicon Valley since 1930. Planetary Ventures invest more than $200 million for a 1,000 acre (405 hectares) which includes Hangar Two and Three, a golf course, runways and a flight operation building. They will use this vast amount of space for research to develop new technologies for space exploration, robotics and other high-tech fields.

NASA is using this facility as a center for their super computer and some critical mission like launching the Kepler a planet hunting telescope and to study the moon’s thin atmosphere.
