Epic selfie by these two guys on top of the 2nd tallest tower in the world
Warning: Viewers definitely shouldn’t try this at home, or in general, as this is has a percentage of ending very poorly.
Precariously balanced on top of a scaffolding tower, these two men are at the top of the world’s second tallest tower – and it’s not even been completed yet.
If you happen to be scared of heights than this video isn’t for you. But, if you seek a thrill and want to see the lengths two kids will go to in order to take the best selfie, then this is what you are seeking.
Vitaliy Raskalov and Vadim Makhorov are two photographers who are better known as OnTheRoofs. The duo is known for its conquest of climbing buildings and taking photos when they reach the top. They are known for climbing the Shanghai Tower last year.
They shot to fame scaling the Shanghai Tower a year ago, and decided not to stop there.
On their website, they wrote: ‘Today’s hero of attention is a new financial center still under construction and is situated in Shenzhen, China.
‘Right now its height is about 660 meters and that makes it the second tallest tower in the world. Right after Burj Khalifa in Dubai.’
They decided to climb the Shenzhen Centre before it was completed and got a really cool video and picture as well. They started out the night by staying in the tower, all the while dodging security and then decided to make the climb the next day.
They chose Chinese New Year to do it, and the video has been viewed more than 400,000 times on YouTube.
One user wrote: ‘I just threw up, and the puke on my laptop was easier to look at than that view.’
Another posted: ‘You guys put assassins creed to shame!’
These guys seemed to disregard the idea of safety as they didn’t even use harnesses when they were making the climb. Still, the view had to have been amazing live. So just a case of high risk verses high reward.
