What will you do if you are being attacked by a herd of lions? Can you survive the muscular claws and teeth of this king of the jungle? What if you are just a vulnerable animal in the forest like this giraffe?
Giraffe is the largest animal found in the continent of Africa. They have an even-toed hoof mammal. It is considered as the tallest living warm-blooded animal and largest mammal that chew the cud regurgitated from its rumen. They have a camel-like shape and a leopard prints colors. They have be distinguished by their tremendously long neck and legs. They have a horn called ossicones with distinctive patterns. They usually found in savannas, grasslands and open woodlands. Acacia leaves are their primary source of food. One of their primary enemies are the lions. They can be also a target for leopards, hyenas and wild dogs because of their calves.
Lions are considered as the king of the jungle because they are strong and fast. They prefer to rummage when opportunity came. They do most of the hunting as a pride. A female lion usually goes out to hunt while the young cubs wait for their return. There are instances that they hunt together. Their attacks are short and powerful by catching the victim with a quick rush and lastly they jump. The lion is considered at one of the big cats in their class. They are the second largest feline after tigers. They can be found in North Africa. They usually live in savanna and grassland however they can also live in bushes and forests. They are not social compared to your common household cats.
