A medical miracle happened to a Pennsylvania couple when Pope Francis's kiss made their one year old baby's brain tumor shrunk in size!
Joey and Kristen Masciantonio's infant, Gianna, is battling with an inoperable brain tumor which is already developed in weeks after she was born. Her brain was attacked by her red blood cells.
Multiple chemotherapy treatments were endured by baby Gianna and the doctors said that she only have months to live becomes of the thriving tumor seen in her brain scan.
Late September, the couple went to Philadelphia to see the Pope Francis's . During the assembly, the Philadelphia Police Department called the popemobile to the area where the Joey and Kristen are standing.
Because of the couple's friend in the law enforcement they were able to get near the Pope. Baby Gianna was handed to one of the Pope Francis's bodyguards then the Pope gave the baby a kiss on the head.
No less than two months later, baby Gianna's brain tumor seemed to be decreasing in size to the extent that it's practically non-existent.
Joey said that baby Gianna had her first eight months in the hospital when the doctors said that there was little that they could do. The chemotherapy she underwent just made small reductions on the brain tumor's size.
