This man was dubbed as the Real Iron Man after he made something awesome and extraordinary!
In Indonesia, 31 year old welder suffered from a stroke, allegedly 6 months ago, he was left with a paralyzed left arm. However by using internet tips, skills and ideas on creating things, he successfully managed to make himself a bionic arms in his workshop.
I Wayan Sumardana also known as Tawan is Bali Indonesia's real life Iron Man because of his bionic arm.
Having a family, he felt the need to provide their needs and necessities. So, he did not let a stroke nor a paralyzed arm get in the way. He created his bionic arms from scrap metal parts which are found at his workshop.
User IN THE NOW posted a video last January 21 on YouTube where the Indonesian man was working using his bionic arms at his workshop. After making his very own bionic arms, he continued his job as a welder.
In the video, as the Indonesian welder was pointing to a gear like metal wrapped around his head he explained that there are electrodes attache to his scalp whose functions are to take small signals from this head.
I Wayan Sumardana bionic arms has gears and varieties of cord that differ in colors and sizes. Some of the scrap metal he used seemed to be a little rusty and oily in appearance. On his left hand, he looks like he was wearing a piece of clothing, something like a glove.
Though there are several online users who having a hard time believing that I Wayan Sumardana's bionic arm is real, he has already been featured in different shows in Indonesia and captured the interest of many Indonesian.
