This is the amazing footage of thousands of bees flying around the professional beekeeper's head as he attempt to smoke them out.

Wearing no protection at all, Mr Kathik sets to work removing the huge beehive on the balcony of a home in Bangalore, in the south of India.

He uses traditional methods he has learnt from his home in the villages of west Bengal.

His friend who shared the video said: "They do not harm the bees at all.

"It is an amazing experience to watch them remove a beehive.

"Nowadays, so many beehives are removed using chemicals or by burning the beehives, thereby killing thousands of these hapless bees.

"This is absolutely unnecessary - there are more humane traditional ways of relocating the bees as you can see in the video."
